AliCPT1: Design and Progress and kinetic inductance detectors 阿里原初引力波探测项目和动态电感探测器

Abstract:

AliCPT-1 is the first Chinese CMB experiment aiming for high precision measurement of Cosmic Microwave Background B-mode polarization. The telescope, currently under deployment in Tibet, will observe in two frequency bands centered at 90 and 150 GHz. Currently the telescope is under construction and will start observation in 2023. In this talk, I will present the design and progress of AliCPT1. On the second part, I will introduce the applications of kinetic inductance detectors in astronomy.


摘要:

AliCPT1是我国首个原初引力波实验项目,计划在我国西藏阿里地区海拔5250米的台址建设一台有效口径为72cm的95GHz/150GHz原初引力波望远镜,建成后将成为世界上海拔最高,北天唯一的原初引力波观测站,与南半球的南极极点以及智利一起成为世界三大原初引力波探测基地。AliCPT望远镜采用超导转变边沿探测器,AliCPT焦平面可容纳19个模块,单个模块的探测器数量达到了1704个,可容纳总的探测器数量达到32376个,是正在运行以及建设中的同类型望远镜中单个镜筒探测器数量最多的,目前AliCPT-1正处在工程建设阶段,预计在2023年开始进行正式的原初引力波观测。第二部分,我将介绍动态电感探测器在天文学的发展现状和潜在应用。
