The Milky Way is our home, and its formation and evolution have long been one of the key scientific questions of concern to astronomers. To date, more than 60 satellite galaxies have been observed in the Milky Way, many of which have precise velocity measurements. In this report, I will introduce the recent progress on studying of MW satellites and our recent research on the dynamics of Milky Way satellite galaxies, compare it with cosmological numerical simulations, and address the question of whether the Milky Way is special.
