Hu Zhan (詹虎)

Adjunct Professor; Hundred Talent Program; joint appointment with the NAOC
Research interests:
Cosmology, dark matter, dark energy, large-scale structure, survey science
Research Highlights:

Zhan’s main research interests are in cosmology, especially large-scale structure and cosmological simulations.  He uses large-scale optical surveys to probe the nature of dark matter and dark energy via techniques such as baryon acoustic oscillations and weak gravitational lensing.   Zhan is deeply involved in the LSST project, serving as of its Large-Scale Structure Science Collaboration and its Cosmology Working Group. Zhan is also leading the effort for the CSST to be deployed alongside the Chinese Space Station.
