Announcement
The workshop "Dynamics of Astrophysical Disks" will take place at KIAA-PKU on May 10-21, 2010.

The goal of this workshop/conference is to bring together researchers working on various of forms of disks (from proto-planetary disks to disks around supermassive black holes) to discuss common dynamics/physics issues that are key for their understanding. Some possible topics include (but are not limited to):

• Angular momentum transport (MRI, turbulence, viscosity, etc);

• Waves and instabilities (density waves, bending waves, warps, vortices, etc);

• Disk interaction with external forces (e.g., planets, satellites, disks in merging galaxies);

• Self-gravitating disks (e.g., star/planet formation in galactic/proto-stellar disks);

• Highly magnetized disks and formation of outflows and jets.
