The second Workshop on Astroparticle Physics Held at KIAA

The Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) has successfully organized “Workshop on Astroparticle Physics II” during August 17 to 19, 2017. The long-standing quest for understanding the fundamental laws of Nature has motivated the new field of Astroparticle Physics where observations of the Universe are used to probe particle interactions. KIAA-WAP (Workshop on Astroparticle Physics) series are made to promote these researches, from time to time.



The KIAA-WAP II focuses on the physics & detection of cosmic rays, neutrinos, gamma-rays, and new achievements of major facilities. Special attention is paid to future projects and techniques for strategic planning after Chinese LHAASO construction. More than seventy participants, including those from United States, Europe and Japan, came to KIAA for the workshop. See details at the website:
