Transient astrophysics is now entering an exciting era, with the prospects of observing and detecting high-energy transients across a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum and in non-electromagnetic
channels such as gravitational waves and high-energy neutrinos.
We are organizing a five-day workshop on Multi-Messenger Transient Astrophysics from May 6-10 at Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics. The workshop will bring together observers and
theorists  who work on various aspects of multi-messenger high-energy astrophysics, especially the prospects of detecting most violent transients in the universe (e.g. gamma-ray bursts, jets from tidal
disruption events)  with multi-messenger observational facilities.

The Workshop  has no registration fee. Interested participants please send an email to the LOC ( lxl@pku.edu.cn; gaohe@physics.unlv.edu) to confirm their attendance before April 15, 2013. Most talks are by invitation, but there are still limited slots for contributed talks. Please submit your title and abstract to the LOC if you’d like to give an oral presentation.
